I broke down, and watched it in the theater... and it wasn't bad, amazingly. I still think the writers copped out on the whole demons thing(and the last battle was just not Doom at all), but it could have been far, far worse.
And, if there were more action instead of some lagging dialogue scenes, it might have even crossed the line from not bad to excellent. As is, I'll still probably buy it, because the FP sequence and the fights with the Hell Knight were freakin' sweet.

It will hit the bargain bin pretty quickly, and that's when I'll get it.

I haven't seen it yet...the annoying part is they seemed to have made it about zombie humans rather than demon spewing through the gates of hell, which is offputting.

as far as i know its not a fact but i say its a safe bet. even if it did have references to hell they would probably be too busy saving childrens souls from the evil that is harry potter. cause we all know that witch and wizardry stuff will lead to satanism, cults and the ritual slaughtering of goats, virgins and babies. woops i went of on a tangent there censorship and the like from these groups and government people pisses me off a hell of a lot.

no shit, there are so many movies i have to really work to find either on ebay or by other means. they aren't always good but if i want to see some ultra violent highly controversial film i should be able to see it regardless of what a bunch of pussies at the OFLC think.
arrrgh censorship
