and the console sounded so good till they pulled that piece of shit out of their arse. they should've stuck with the 64 controller.

no i didn't know that, but i still think its stupid. a controller shouldn't need add ons like analogue sticks and cases to make it accesible to everyone and every game. It could be add on madness. also this thing reminds me off the power glove, which i'm sure sucked hard. this thing worked the same way, where you move and the thing on screen follows. i still say this is a suicidal move for nintendo but it i would love them to prove me wrong.

the powerglove sucked so much balls.
and yeah, i think nintendo are going over board on these little niche gimmicks...like the ds's touchscreen...

its been a neverending run of failures for nintendo, their glory days of the nes and snes have passed. it looks like they're relying on gimmicks to sell their stuff.

apparently you can plug the gamecube control into it for the older games too.

yep forelander, for archived games you can use the gc controller, theoretically anyways.
still, since the n64 the controllers have gotten continuosly shittier.
althoug i think the gc controller was better than the 64's, but only because the proportions and the quality of the analong stick were better.
this whole plug in new pheriphal phase they have though, this is a disaster waiting to happen.

one of the demo's that ign.com got their hands on was a basic flying sim, the cool thing was you could hold the controller like a toy airplane and fly it throug the air to control the plane on ths screen. probably the only upside.

Seems like a bad idea... you know how hard it is to keep a controller still wth just one hand? If you relied on that thing to move characters around on a screen, you would never really have control over them.
The only thing I like about this design is that it becomes like an old nes controller when you turn it sideways...

Why the hell would you want to control it like that? You couldn't play for days straight because your arm would get tired. It'd suck having to stand there like a jackass and point at your TV all day.
