I'll put this simply...
I want to get ahold of some classic SNES games. As in, Donkey Kong Country... Super R-Type, Super Mario World, etc.
You guys think I should just go the cheap route and buy an SNES, or plunk down the cash for a game boy advance, so I could play the ports of the classic games as well as the new games?

you could be extremely cheap and download an emulator.
buy the gameboy and get all the ports, snes stuff is getting really old and there could be problems with the games, console, controllers or all three. also old games are becoming sought after collectors items and can get pretty expensive.

you could be extremely cheap and download an emulator. nah, I don't feel like doing that... I hate playing stuff on the computer anyway. Yeah, it's just that I don't really travel enough to make buying a portable system seem like a good idea... that's why I had the dilemna in the first place.

you have an xbox right? you can download emulators and roms and play on that. if not just head over to ebay and buy a snes. there are plenty being sold and many of them are pretty cheap. its just a few games that go for big bucks zelda being one

Hmm.. I could I guess... I still don't really trust emulators though...
And I guess I'll look on ebay tonight, or maybe at the local game shop, if they have any.
