the first of hopefully many new topics i will make tonight is dedicated to my favourite show, actually the only show i watch with any regularity.
mythbusters, someone else here must watch this show. got a favourite myth? a myth you'd like to see tackled?

I don't like that show. The "adults" try too hard to come off as goofy and child-like, which is fucking annoying like an 8 year old ADHD. Its like a bad rehash of Trading Spaces (yeah, I used to watch Trading Spaces, you got a problem with that?). I'm sure it's an interesting, informative show... but I just can't get past that.

as a studying engineer i have very little to say on their 'scientific method'. Which is to say half the things they 'bust' are probably true. I'm pretty sure they claimed to 'bust' the myth about a bullet hole in a plane causing things to get sucked out of it and tear everything apart, without even taking into account the difference between cabin and air pressure at height, which is what would cause the effect. It can be interesting though.
