I was just going to make this post. I went outside today re-learning my tricks from the damn cold, but I can't get back my *small* switch ollies.

switch isn't that hard it just feels uncomfortable. you'll probably finding yourself learning switch flips etc faster than you did regular kickflips. although it will feel uncomfortable at first you have also learnt it in one stance so you know how to do it and all the problems you faced and how you fixed them. the only way to learn switch stuff is to just keep skating switch. push around switch, tic tac switch and start with the basics. switch ollies, 180's, pop shuvs. you'll eventually start feeling pretty confortable in switch and tricks will come suprisingly easy.

last summer (the winter you guys are coming out of) i decied to get as many tricks as i can switch. i basically did what head cheese said to do. just learn it. learn to push normal. learn to ollie, 180, shuvit, kickflip and stuff all over again like i was starting from scratch. at first it felt unco but like then i got the hang of it and found that i would learn switch tricks as fast as normal tricks. although i dont skate switch as much (im kinda over it) everyone absolutly fears me and my switch skills.

i can ollie just same either way, except when im going to ollie an object, i freeze up in switch. its a reflex that im trying to break. i can pop shuv it switch as well as do basic freestyle tricks like switch no handed pogo, 50-50 pogo to switch hand casper, switch tail handflip, switch doulbe tailhandflip, and so on. im working on coconut wheelie to a backside pivot on the front wheel to switch coconut wheelie, but thats still in the works...(and i havent seen anyone else do it, so i claim it as my signature trick! ;D) and if you dont know, a coconut wheelie is where you are moving forward and stand the board up in rail (primo) position, and you move forward like a rail slide (primo slide) except the actual deck of the board doesnt touch the ground. just riding the deck on the sides of the wheels basically.

1oen has my vote to be the first person to be kicked off the forum. i dont know who he is and he already thinks that because HE hasnt seen someone do a trick its his trick. how do you know there isnt some town in botswana or soemthing where everyone there only does that. no-one has a signature trick. pretty soon the 900 isnt going to be TH's sig move, so your crappy little coconut manuael thing that pretty much any freestyler could do is not yours. faaaaaaaaaaaggggggggg.
