Competition will never be as good as the videos we buy because in competitions the skaters will only do tricks they have consistent. If a skater can't do a certain trick fully consistently, then if they screw up on that trick and don't land or something, they lose points. Whereas in a video they have all the time they want to keep filming over and over until they get the trick.

what about the globe world cup. i suppose there still isnt an incentive to try super tricks cause they would do that for a video, because even if they are hurt (while fliming for a vid), they are garunteed like $100 000, but in a comp you MAY win $20 000.

I just said buy because I thought everyone bought them. I sure don't. I don't have a single skate video that I bought. Download, watch, get tired of, delete. Repeat.

i dont think the point he was making was abot buying, but more so about watching them/owning.
