As some of you may remember, I've been trying flatground 360 melons, and I may have just gotten them. However, my grab comes way closer to the nose than normal, and so I ask you, the educated, to tell me if it's still a melon grab if your hand grabs just a little below the front wheels or if it's a different grab. If so, what?

i guess its in the middle of the board i.e. between the wheels so i would say it counts, but then this is a guess as i have no idea about grabs.

thats a lien grab isn't it? melons are usually just inrfront of the back wheels and tend to involve mass bonage.

leins are frontside, melons are backside. i think it would still be one of the two

actually diretion does affect grabs. i'll ask around but i think there are 2 other grabs that are affected by which way you spin. im so dumb.
bu the moral of the story is, dont do b/s 360 melons on flat

the only thing i can think of is usually most bs vert grabs are indies. i still say a lien is front hand, back edge just behind the front wheels. maybe with a bit of mobbage, like a rocket air style grab. opposite of a melon kinda. melon = near back wheels, bonage, lien = near front wheels, mobbage.
