it seems to me that the vast majority of the population here are not of the gnarly-stair-jumpers. I find this cool, because i don't skate stairs cuz im on the heavier and taller side and snap boards very easily. so my question to you: do you fit in to the stair and gap ollieing part of skating, the tech part, or a mix?
holy shit, theres a blister on my hand that i just noticed and it looks like a marble got under my skin. freaky

tech skating all the way! i sometimes get gnarly and throw myself down gaps but thats rare and i have only done 1 handrail but i've done it twice. for me its all about manuals ledges and sketchy board hits the ground first retarted tricks.

after breaking my tail bone 4 times doing stairs, i'm now scared as shit of large stair gaps...you would be to if you couldn't sit down right for a month afterward...not to mention trying to take a shit...

YOU'VE BEEN STEALING MY THOUGHTS. except i was thinking about trying to pinch the inside membrane of my large intestine with some chop sticks. and i want to fuck my niece...she's 3 i'm all manual pads, road gaps, stupid flips into and out of manuals, grinds and slides, and tricks that make a mockery of all things stylish, fashionable and conveivably possible.

While I don't do stairs just yet, I often do gaps and drops. Stairs just has too much of both things right now. I can prepare for a long fall, and I can ollie quite a distance, but when it comes to stairs, I have to kind of do both, and it can be a bit harrowing.
Mostly my deal is ledges and such, though. I do some handrails, but only really low ones. Stair rails put the fear of god in me.

Once in awhile I can work up the nerve to do something big, but I usually just stick to ledges, flatrails, funboxes, and manual pads. I like to do obscure stuff since it makes my shitty style seem not quite as shitty.

kickflips are fun. 16 days till i can skate. whats the gnarest trick and techest tricks people have done?
for me it would be tech: switch heeflip front nosegrind or this line i did once that took me for for ever, crooks big spin then switch crooks half cab flip out gnar: noselide 12 kickflip 10

i'm not sure what the techest trick i've done is. highlights are nose manual nollie tre, nose manual nollie inward heel, manual ollie up to nose manual nollie flip and same trick but 360 shuv out, oh maybe 5050 front shuv late flip and maybe not that its hard but it does combine 3 tricks, 5050 to front board shuv out.
gnarliest would be laser flip down a fair sized gap, the vids around this forum somewhere.
