i simply cannot get this trick to work properly, it seems that everything that can go wrong will go wrong and then some. so any tips on learning this trick, is there any little insignificant steps i could take to get this right? how did you go about learning it and did it take you a fucking long time as it seems to be doing with me? also one last question which sounds stupid but makes all the difference. when you are about to pop this trick are your eyes looking down parrallel or perpendicular at the board. i know thats dumb but it has a large effect on how some tricks can work. any tips at all, or this tricks may drive me fucking insane.

well these days i don't look at the board much , but i was perpendicular (at about 45 degrees or something) i think. i landed my first one the day i tried it, but took ages to get it anywhere near consistant. i found the best way to do it is to try and jump higher than you are attempting to pop, which sounds silly but works. another thing was to forget about the ollie part of the trick and just think of it as a super mobbed nollie heelflip, just a case of experiementing with timing, it shouldn't shit you up so much. also try to act as if you have been doing this trick for the last 10 years, be completely nonchalant towards it instead of thinking about it as a compeltely new trick, ujst think of it as an extension of the nollie heel
