Ah yes, it's time to bring this thread back to life from the ashes of the old forum. This thread is dedicated to asking and answering questions about, you guessed it, No Complies and their variations. Ask for a No Comply trick tip and you're sure to get it. Starting with the most common, the FS 180 No Comply: 1. Roll at low to medium speed. You don't want to go too fast when first learning this. 2. Position your front foot somewhere around the front bolts, and have your back foot centered on the tail. 3. Wind up your shoulders like you would for a FS 180 Ollie. Then step off with your front foot. 4. Scoop with your back foot. To help the board get around, and to get a bit of air, you can scrape the tail around fronside while scooping. It sounds weird but makes sense when you try it. 5. Once the board has nearly spun a full 180, jump up slightly off of your planted front foot. By the time your feet are in position the board should have finished it's spin. 6. Land firmly and ride away happy. Now go work on making it smoother and faster.

for b/s no complies, set up like a b/s heelflip/inward heel flip, step off on your toe side rail as you scoop/push/pop/no comply thingy. its not too hard, the only problem is you can't really see the board as youturn as it is moving behind you the whole time.

The BS No Comply works like a BS Shove-it, and behaves like a BS 180 Ollie.
I find that I have the opposite problem as ETS. When I do these, the board goes out too far in front of me. It does help a lot if you wind up your shoulders a little more than usual before stepping and popping.

I would mildly guess, at least 10-15. I have most of them wired, but some of the harder stuff, like the No Comply - BS 360 Pressure Flip - FS Body Varial, takes more than a few tries. ;D I really should think of a shorter name to call that trick....

Well, my sloppy style makes it, less impressive... And damn... I went out tried some of these No Comply tricks again, and I forgot how hard some of them were. The BS 180 No Comply Underflip is a bitch!! Oh well... if you think of a variation that you'd like to try, I'll post a tip on it. ;D

As requested by headcheese, here's a tip for the No Comply Fingerflip. ;D
1. Set up the same way as in all No Comply tricks; front foot over the front bolts, back foot centered on the tail.
2. Step off with your front foot, and pop the tail with your back foot. Since this is a straight-on No Comply, the nose of your board will likely go nearly vertical. In this case, it's a good thing.
3. Grab the nose with front hand. As you are grabbing, jump off of your planted front foot.
4. Flip the board with your hand. It doesn't matter which way.
5. As you are already airborne, all you must do is wait for the board to finish flipping, and then set your feet on it firmly.
6. Land and ride away smoothly, leaving your buddies wondering what the hell it was you just did. ;D

It's so easy, I can do it while eating an apple. ;D
Next trick, one of my personal favorites: FS 180 No Comply Underflip.
1. Roll along slowly. This trick can sometimes get a bit weird, and you don't want to be going too fast in case that happens. Also, be sure to have normal FS 180 No Complies down.
2. Set up in the same way as described in the last two tips. Wind up your shoulders.
3. Unwind the shoulders, step with your front foot, and scoop with your back foot, just as before.
4. Now, this time, instead of jumping off of your front foot and getting it over the board, bring your front foot up and kick the underside of the board to flip it. You and the board should have already completed the 180.
5. Hover over the board until it stops flipping, then catch it and land switch. Ride away while your buddies look on in bewilderment. ;D
