i think i'm going to buy a longboard for next year in college since i can't have a car. I'm leaning towards an afroman hustler since i hear such good things and it would make an all around damn good board, especially if i found any ditches...discuss.

I'm definitely going to get myself a longboard for when I go up to college... maybe not for when I leave for summer session but I will have one in the fall.
Suggestions, anyone?
Talahassee's got mad hills... oh yea

Element makes this board called "log riders club" or something like that. It's kind of like a mini longboard. It's 8.6" or so by around 34" or 35". It has a modern shape, it's not like a single kicker. It's a really, really neat board. A bit long for the type of skating I do, but if you're used to a 7.5" tongue depressor, this thing is a monster.
See, I had Floyd order one because I'd seen it online. It's still there if you're interested.

i ordered my college board today it consists of
deathbox hackett 10"x35" which has a cool boxed tail and somewhat of a point at the nose and some nice concave for leaning in hard. blank 60mm wheels 90a indy 215s bones reds and 1/2" risers so i can get my carve going minus the wheelbite
should be in in a week or so, i'll let you know how it goes, and by you i mean myself since i'm the only one on here.

damn well actually the new deck is damn comfy even on the uneven halfassed brick sidewalks around here. i actually rode it about 7 blocks yesterday, to get a 12 pack. so yeah, deathbox kicks ass.
