so I've ordered a new guitar that looks like this
www.rondomusic.net/interceptor.html
and i got it in blue as the green sold out. but so far this hasn't been as easy as simply ordering it oh no.
first - i wanted a green one but i needed my bros information and due to time differences he was asleep during the first day these were out. upon waking the next morning all the green ones had sold out literally within one day. lame. oh well, i'll just get the blue one. So i send the order form and when my bro gets home we jump on paypal to pay. the guitar with shipping to aus should cost 509.95 us dollars, which according to www.xe.com should be 675 australian dollars. paypal allows a maximum amount of monetary transfers of 1000 australian. we have 677 dollars left. cool, we can make the payment. wrong, paypal says we arent transferring enough. so i email the dude and say "look paypals says there's not enough, but it should be within 10 bucks, can i pay anyway" and he says "sure". so we transfer the 675 aus into his account. a confirmation of acceptance by them is sent and everything looks cool. wrong. next day (due to time differences things take twice as long as they should as when we're awake theyre asleep and vice versa) we get an email saying payment has been rejected as its not enough. im understandably confused, 675 shouldve been enough. so then i convince my other brother to get a paypal account and let me use it to make the full 509 us payment, which he eventually does, and i make what is hopefully my last payment. currently im waiting for either the blue one to run out and me somehow miss out yet again or the thing to get fucked in shipping, since god apparently doesn't want me to have this guitar. oh, and 509 us dollars tunrs out to be 700 aus, my original payment was almost 50 us dollars short. so don't use www.xe.com and expect accurate results coz you won't get them.
but seriously how sexy is that guitar?
