i dont care if you dont beleive me, but today i found a dry spot and landed 2 regular varial flips
they really are easier, because with my kickflips, i catch them too early, but with varial flips, i catch them once they've rotated the full shuvit, so the flip has already finished.
plus my flick is completely different for varial flips. its like i put my front foot an inch or two from the back bolts, completely on the toes, then pop and kick to the toe-side.

Slappy feebles.
Whatever your opinion of their appearance, slappy grinds are reeeaalll fun. Especially moving quickly, it's like a riskier powerslide.

ya, i love slappies, but all i have to slappy around here are asphalt curbs, and they only grind for like a foot at a time.
bs heelflip
size 15 shoes make bs heels difficult. there were so many times where i landed perfect, but had my toes or heels on the ground. but the one i landed was on the bolts, fully rotated. fs heels are so much harder than bs.

switch wallie on a bank to asphalt curb. the angled part was on the other side of the bank, so i could wallie out, turn around and wallie back in. i think its my favorite spot, possibly of all time, and its right down the street. its just an asphalt curb, the slappy part not facing the bank, it starts out on flat, then an asphalt bank starts up, and it doesnt get up to more than a foot high, but its about as steep as a quarter pipe at the top of it. i love it. i'm gonna go skate it again today.

first try ollie manual fs 180. this was what broke my last board, so it felt really awesome to get it first try. fs 5050 across and down one of those flat to hubbas on this one pyramid i also got a nosegrind across this one box, that was cool
it was 40 degrees out, so this was a good warm up for the 20 degree winter sessions
