I have to start in gym soon. ot a big fan of the tennis/volleyball/badminton genre of sports, but I do like my table-tennis (ping-pong)
The birdie is so damn lite, I can smash it, but it hardly moves.
I can jsut imagine a father of some random east-ender kid goin "My kids not gonna play some dman joke-of-a-sport badminton! Thats a dman pansy sport!" and tehn his kid crying, because that is his lifelong dream. Ohh, what a day

Whoa. Definitely far from a pansy sport. Have you ever been hit by one of those things after being hit by a [very good] player's smash? Didn't think so. They hurt a lot, especially when you catch 'em in the face. I missed practice today, My grades aren't so hot now and my parents want me off the team, even though they greatly encourage my sister to play on the soccer team... blah

No, I meant I can just imagine some random "tough-guy, I drive a big truck, hemi, blahblahblah" father coming in. And no, I havn't been hit with a serve.

At my school in gym we had a singles and doubles tournament and I won both. In the doubles I won it with one of my fellow quarterbacks.

Tomorrow is our match against Haiti High (not the real name). That's the school I'm supposed to be going to, but they don't have a cool music program.
So I get to leave school early to go kick their ass.
doubles, baby

i just started badminton. Not half bad, although I played with a kid who had absolutley no eye-hand coordination. He couldn't serve the birdie unerhand, or whatever you call it.

You must serve it from below the waist, so yea. There's backhand underhand and forehand underhand serves.
Most people you'll watch will use the backhand. I'm rather fond of forehand
