Well... I still haven't seen any new movies since I last posted in this thread.
But I do want to see Sin City, and I really must buy Boondock Saints, because it kicks 13 kinds of ass, and in 42 different languages.
The only other new movie that I actually want to see this year, is DOOM. I hope it's at least decent.

just found this for the doom movie. www.thetechlounge.com/article.php?directory=quakecon_day_2theres concept art, trailer, the interviews at some convention. but the real draw card is the first person scene, just like the game. tis pretty cool if a little dark but then it is only a work in progress and it is low quality pirated footage.

Actually, now that I think of it, there are two other fairly new movies I'd like to see: House of Flying Daggers, and Kung Fu Hustle.
Anyone seen those yet?

no, i'm fairly sure i was going to but i saw hero first and didn't think too much of it (though some of the shots looked freakin awesome). That kind of left me with a bad taste about those sort of films.

Hmm... well, Kung Fu Hustle is in a contemporary setting, and it's meant to be comedic, so it probably wouldn't be much like Hero...
I did like Hero, for the most part, but I guess that's a matter of personal taste.

bought the girl next door, drunken master, and sin city.
girl next door is funny, and worth a watch if not only because elisha cuthbert is in it and you almost see her boobie.
drunken master is classic and makes me want to get drunk and learn martial arts.
sin city was alright, the whole digitalized everything wears kind of thin, and the whole film noir shit gets old, but then again i'm not a fan of that style anway. the ending is good though.
other movies purchased recently: me, myself and irene, rambo: first blood, jay and silent bob strike back (first copy broke) and some others that i can't remember.
the collection has broken 100 if not 110.
i need a life.

just got a movie named bubba ho tep. possibly the strangets plot for a movie ever. Elvis is still alive and in a nursing home with him is a guy who thinks he's JFK but the government dyed his skin so now he's black, they also took out his brain and replaced it with a bag of sand.......strange. anyway the short of it is that the two fight a mummy whos eating souls in the nursing home. so strange and so funny. Bruce Campbell of Evil Dead fame plays Elvis which is a massive plus.
