too bad it had no plot at all.
man and children run from aliens, are seperated, reunited and aliens die. the end.

just saw fear and loathing in las vegas, so so funny and with some of the best lines i have ever heard.
"Look, there's two women fucking a polar bear"
"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole multi colored collection of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon. "
After taking acid and tripping out and seeing bats. Dr. Gonzo: [singing] Let's give the boy a lift. Raoul Duke: What? No. We can't stop here. This is bat country.
"Know your dope fiend. You will not be able to see his eyes because of tea shades, but his knuckles will be white from inner tension and his pants will be crusted with semen from jacking off when he can't find a rape victim. "
"I was right in the middle of a fucking reptile zoo, and somebody was giving booze to these goddamn things. Won't be long now before they tear us to shreds. "

yeah well besides the lack of story line it was good. plus it had some pretty big holes in the "plot" and some pretty blatant inconsistencies, but i still liked it

or why the aliens just didn't rule earth when they got here instead of burying space ships. or why we hadn't seen them in excavations or why the aliens thought it was a good idea to eat our food, drink our water or breath our food, or why the people in the cages just didn't cling together i mean like they knew every so often one of them would be picked up to be "eaten" or why the son didn't die or why the aliens were so pussy looking. or why the CD by Jeff Waynes was so good

the van the guy was working on before tom cruise went to look at the stuff was the one he took, and he told him to try replacing the solanoid, and he did, and i guess it worked if it wasnt connected when the emp went off. or something like that

yeh...that doesn't make sense. EMP - electromagnetic pulse - solenoids are magnetic encased in a shitload of looped metal, and thus have a magnetic field. an electromagnetic pulse should still fuck it up severely i imagine, whether its producing a current or not. not 100% sure though. plus that little girl made me want to beat children and rape their parents for producing and cultivating something so goddamn fucking irritating.
