I loved the first one. I can't wait for the second. I'm going to skip work so I can see it on opening day... it's just awesome.

it sounds like an excuse to see violence. you know that song "jeremy" by some band and how its about columbine, some girls did an analisys of it for their english assignment in my class and they thought it was about a boy who was selfish and sexually harrased people. i nearly shat myself

Jeremy? You mean the one by Pearl Jam? ... that was way before Columbine

hey i heard that the first and second part were sapposed to be one big movie, but they could not put it in thearters without a ny-17 rating so they split it up into two parts.

well it is one big movie, but i suspect they just wanted to try and double the profits by releasing two seperate parts. like the matrix.

no, i saw an interview on tv and they were saying that after they filmed kill bill it was over 4 hours long and releasing that would be "box office suicide" since noone would want to sit through a movie that long, so they split it into 2 movies.

i haven't seen either one yet, so i can't comment on if it could have been shortened to satsify the masses' short attention span or not.

i would say that's why they did it. kill bill volume 1 is filled with killing, then kill bill volume 2 is a lot more story and virtually no killing. not to say its not good, but some people would probably lose interest after 3 hours if the killing stopped suddenly. which it does.
