sorry is all about tom penny, his part was literally thrown together in a matter of days. anytihng you see of him will never do him justice though, he's just too lazy/perpetually stoned/on some kind of mutant opiate-fungus cross breed to film. seeing hmin the flesh is somehting else entirely...
i'd make love to him right now if i could, actually no i wouldn't i'd rape him visciously until his eyes dripped with semenal fluids

black label - black out
good skate vid, some good skaters, complete lack of techness, but some good stuff alltogether, more burley and mid sized handrails. ben gilley looks way to sketchy, though. ragdoll and patrick melcher had enjoyable parts, though. nice tricks.

A LOT of vids to do.
Really Sorry - Not bad, and a few of the parts were better than Sorry(Rowley, Penny). But the effort put into the video was plainly less, as was reflected by the music and filming. Sorry still remains the superior vid in my eyes.
Chichagof - I liked it(sorry viceversaman and headcheese). It has Rowley on a miniramp, which I've never seen before, it has Busenitz, whom I haven't seen since Real to Reel, it had some fine footage of Dolin, and it has two locals from my neck of the woods; Brandon Westgate, part of the kids montage, and the ever-underrated Aaron Suski. The format was a bit wierd and the music wasn't great, but it was kind of fun to watch.
Welcome to Hell - Good team, Sonic Youth, and Jamie Thomas 5050ing a huge handrail for the entire duration of the credits. Some pretty sick footage for its day.
Good & Evil - Terrible soundtrack countered by some of the greatest skating ever. I mean, I'll keep watching Bucchieri's part, in spite of the painful Spanish Metal playing in the background.
Go For Broke - Everything went well in this. It has some Black Labelers, some Tiltmode people, and funny credits. And the music is even listenable, though obviously forgettable, as I forgot it. My respect for Thrasher is starting to grow.
Questionable - I can't believe it's taken me this long to see it. But it was worth it just to watch all the old-days style skating. Pretty decent soundtrack, even has a song off the first Green Day album. Double flips and late flips galore. Vert, street, bowl, it's all good. Oh, and the team rocks.

i loved go for broke. the san fran boys montage is so good and jose rojo, that kid will own the enjoi vid.
for me, good and evil was almost the other way around. alright music and mediocre skating. that'sa bit harsh but i would rtaher watch sorry or yeah right1 instead.
really sorry wasnt as good as sorry but not to say it was bad either. like pj's part and apples' parts were fucking banging and everyone else had decent parts.

i actually liked all of good and evil. it had some awesome skating. i mean, billy marks could be hittin rails a bit higher up, but i cant do handrails so i cant judge. the skating was far from mediocre. i cant really think of any mediocer-ness in the whole thing, except maybe ed templeton, but i like the way he skates so i dont really care.
and by the way, do any of you have the butter 08 album?

i'ma review the real skateboards free dvd: so i wasnt expecting this, so anything moderately interesting inside of it would make it worthwhile, but the skating is awesome. keith hufnagel has a really awesome ollie, like he does one after a tailslide, just cruising, just drenched in style. and he does this thing before alot of his tricks where he'll curve his right hand in and swing his arm back. anyhoo, good parts from ernie torres, who starts off with a ollie down a 9 flat 8 double set. that was hot. he can also manual up a shit storm, and in the extras, he ollie nosemanuals up like a 2, then nollie flips what seems to be around an 8 stair. sick. darrel stanton has some good stuff, with a sw bs bigspin down a 4 flat 4, and the sweetest ender with a nollie bs noseblunt down a massive 11 or 12 stair hubba. then the last part is dennis busenitz, who i never have seen before. he does some awesome stuff into hills, over bushes, all that stuff. a very good part. overall, its the best free skate vid i have ever seen.

its really crazy, how koston did that first like two years ago (more? my sense of time is off), and already, someones taken it that far. imagine the slide out factor on that.
also, chris cole 360 flip noseblunted an 8. thats pretty sick. i'm pretty sure its on eengoedidee. has anyone bought the new zero vid?

it was the worst tre to noseblunt. he did it 4 times in the one session and each one was like a 'tornado flip' like each flip was almost veritcal.
what if? by blind - pretty rad. all that hype for correy sheppard over the past couple of years for that? he isnt a switch skater at all, he can just switch tre and switch flip. jake duncombe, assie reppin hardcore and it's sad to hear his mum died. rest is cool, ronnie creager wasnt THAT jaw dropping but he still had some rad skating happening and all very smooth. nice vid over all. especially seeing as my local shop gave me a free copy.

i think three of the tricks were varial flip noseblunts
hes still one of the best street skateboarders ever. i mean, he can do a bs kickflip 360 down a big four. thats insane. and he did a switch kickflip bs 360 on flat for thrasher's king of the road. thats an insanely hard trick.

that big four you speak off is "the pit". it's in sydney. everyone loves it to bits, everyone's all like "omg, if the pit had a vagina or ass i would fuck it" and im the only one that doesnt like it. i've f/s flipped it and that's it, like it scares. the whole place is filthy as around there. if you land on your back, so much grime and shit sticks to your back and a couple of my white t-shirts are perma-martin-placed. my friend jaime hawlie was trying to fakie f/s big fpin it which is nuts cause it's a trick that is easier nollie rather than fakie. check him out on the element website in the aussie team.
